How to Attract Visitors to Your SEMA Booth with Trade Show Rentals
The SEMA (Specialty Equipment Market Association) Show is one of the largest Las Vegas has to offer. Attended by specialty automotive professionals, mechanics, parts suppliers, and anyone within the auto industry, it’s where anyone who has anything to do with cars will be this November 5th-8th. SEMA drew over 70,000 domestic and international buyers in 2018, and this year promises to be an even bigger gathering of the best brands in the automotive industry.
Your Strategy to Stand out at SEMA 2019
The SEMA show is huge. Mind-blowingly huge. There’s an entire hall—larger than most conventions—dedicated only to wheels and tires. It’s easy to walk five miles of convention center aisles and still miss much of the show. And then there’s the almost-as-big AAPEX (Automotive Aftermarket Products Expo) in the Sands Convention Center across the street.
What does that means to exhibitors who are hoping to stand out at SEMA?
For decisions such as where to set up products, whether or not to conduct product demonstrations or to highlight a display vehicle, knowing the booth types will help companies plan accordingly.
- Island Exhibit: An island exhibit is surrounded by aisles, and these exhibits must be at least 20×20 ft. There are other dimensions available, with the largest being 50×60 ft.
- Linear Exhibit: A linear exhibit—the most common SEMA Show booth—is generally arranged in a straight line and has neighboring exhibitors on both sides, with one side exposed to the aisle. These booths are 10×10 ft. and are offered up to 10×40 ft.
- Peninsula Exhibit: A peninsula exhibit is the “end cap” of booth space. It’s surrounded by aisles on three sides and must be no smaller than 20×20 ft. Additional dimensions are available up to 50×60 ft.
Each configuration is unique and offers its own advantages. The size selected on the booth-space application is what will be assigned during the Space Selection Process. Changes to size can be made only after the space allocation process.
